Please make sure you show up 10 min before the start of the session at 9.50am. Sometimes it takes some time to get all the tech stuff right for everyone.

Are you finding it hard to turn your attention inward?
Do you still feel distracted and scattered, despite being in lock-down and being without the usual external distraction of work / life?
Are you avoiding THAT what wants to be seen, fully felt, welcomed and loved within you?
This time of lockdown is an amazing opportunity to get really still and curious and allow ourselves to clear and release our unresolved issues within.
In Yoga we call it the 'issues in our tissues' (our undigested thoughts / feelings / trauma held energetically in our connective tissue)
Yin yoga is a wonderful gateway into those tissues, our deeper knowing and Being.
It is a meditation in shapes. It is a slow and deeply transformative form of Yoga that helps us slow down the mind and drop into our inner space of Stillness.
It's when the mind calms and clears, our wisdom and inspiration appears.
In Yin Yoga we are in a yoga posture for 2-5 minutes whilst connecting with our breath. We cultivate a kind and gentle curiosity to what is arising from the depths of our being into the light of our Awareness.
It is in stillness and awareness / presence where we can allow insights to occur and healing to take place all on its own accord.
By becoming more receptive and dropping into a quality of being we have the opportunity to uncover and become more available to a deep sense of understanding, compassion, peace, love and wisdom.
Our true nature.
We return to wholeness when we let go and surrender.
Life becomes more effortless and enjoyable from this space.
We're back 'in the flow'.
Yin Yoga targets the deepest tissues, the fascia networks of the body as well as our ligaments, joints and bones.. the areas that we wouldn't be able to reach in a more dynamic yoga practice because of the muscles taking the stress in the more dynamic poses.
In Yin Yoga we bypass the muscles and work on lubricating and stretching the fascia in our body. Our 72.000 meridians (energy pathways) are running through the fascia, the deep tissue network that binds the whole body together.
By reaching the fascia we have the chance to resolve deep seated energy blocks present within the meridians (the so called 'issues in the tissues'). It enhances the flow of chi (life energy) towards all of our organs.
As where Yang Yoga is focused on strength and stability, Yin Yoga focuses primarily on mobility and is specially beneficial for older men and women (from 40+), however is recommended to practice for all ages in combination with a more yang oriented practice (more dynamic).
