Las Fiestas del PORRAT están a la vuelta de la esquina. Del 12 al 15 de agosto, honraremos a la Virgen de la Asunción y San Roque con una celebración por todo lo alto que une a nuestro pueblo. El volteo de campanas anunciará, a las 12 horas del sábado, la llegada de cuatro días repletos de actividades y diversión. A las 13 horas llega el inicio oficial de las fiestas bajo el balcón del ayuntamiento donde los festeros recibirán los pañuelos al ritmo del pasodoble 'Polop de la Marina' interpretado por todas las bandas de música en un multitudinario acto.
Tendremos 'despertaes', aperitivos, actividades infantiles, desfiles de las Reinas y autoridades locales, y verbenas populares que nos harán bailar hasta la madrugada.
Entre las joyas de nuestras festividades, no podemos dejar de mencionar el desfile del Humor donde las peñas locales se apoderan de las calles con sus disfraces ingeniosos, Misas Solemnes y Ofrenda Floral: un momento de reflexión mientras honramos a la Virgen de la Asunción con una ofrenda floral significativa y la Romería de San Roque en la cual las calles cobran vida con una procesión en honor a San Roque y muchas actividades más.
El concejal de fiestas, Christian Rodríguez, invita a todos los vecinos visitantes a disfrutar de estos cuatro días de fiestas y de todas las actividades y actuaciones programadas.

The PORRAT Festivities are just around the corner. From August 12 to 15, we will honor the Virgin of the Assumption and San Roque with a celebration in style that unites our people. The ringing of bells will announce, at 12 noon on Saturday, the arrival of four days full of activities and fun. At 1 pm comes the official start of the festivities under the balcony of the town hall where the festeros will receive the handkerchiefs to the rhythm of the pasodoble 'Polop de la Marina' played by all the bands in a multitudinous act.
We will have 'despertaes', snacks, children's activities, parades of the Queens and local authorities, and popular festivities that will make us dance until dawn.
Among the jewels of our festivities, we cannot fail to mention the Parade of Humor where the local peñas take over the streets with their witty costumes, Solemn Masses and Floral Offering: a moment of reflection as we honor the Virgin of the Assumption with a meaningful floral offering and the Pilgrimage of San Roque in which the streets come alive with a procession in honor of San Roque and many more activities.
The councilman of festivities, Christian Rodriguez, invites all visiting neighbors to enjoy these four days of festivities and all the activities and performances scheduled.
