Today we had 35 residents from the Costa Blanca South in our English language tour on our 11th trip (from 2 June to 15 September) amounting 474 people, with a progressive growing demand . The format is as follows:
9.30 Welcome in our Engineer Mira Guardamar Dunes Reforestation Museum (Tourist Office) by our council tourist guide.
9.35 Short lecture in English (or Spanish, Catalan and French) by the Chief Tourism Officer, Mr. Joan-Carles Martí. "Guardamar in the Iberian Peninsula: from the Phoenicians to the Christian Conquest". For other languages you will have to come with an interpreter.
9.55 Ticket payment (5 euros) and departure on the Iniciativas Fye Co. train.
10.05 Departureof the Tourist Train with our Tourist Guide. You will visit the Castle of Guardamar, the medieval Islamic Monestery remains (10th c. A.D.) and the Phoenician Archaeological Excavations of La Fonteta (8th 6th C. B.C), both within the Guardamar Pinewood Forest Dune System.
11.30 arrival at the mouth of the river Segura. Marina of the dunes.
12.00 noon. End of the excursion at the Guardamar Tourist Office.
We take bookings for groups, clubsm associations and a weekly accumulation of individual requests: minimum of 30 people per trip.
Departures in Spanish on Tuesdays and in English language on Thursdays.
